If you have already chosen to build with ICF or are considering building, finding the right installer is important for the completion of a successful project. ICFMA member companies and their distribution networks can provide you with trained installers in your area. All ICFMA member companies provide best in class training programs across North America. When looking for an ICF installer, the ICFMA encourage you to do your due diligence in sourcing a builder/contractor for your project.
The ICFMA has put together a list of things to look for when choosing your ICF installer:
- Contact a ICFMA member company to find a local distributor that can provide information on a trained ICF installer.
- Ask your distributor for a list of - ICF Trained Installers that have been through a training program.
- Verify that the contractor is a fully accredited – ask to see his wallet card.
If you know a contractor, and he is not been trained to install ICF products, have him can contact a ICFMA member and register to attend a Basic Installation Course to get started.
- Get to know the contractor and the contractor’s work. Unless you have been able to check out the contractor ahead of time you should not sign anything or pay anything at this stage.
